The Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala has extended the deadline to raise objections for the Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) 2024 provisional answer key until today, June 15 for engineering and pharmacy. Earlier, the last date to challenge the answer key was June 13.

The objection facility is only available in offline mode. This means the KEAM 2024 answer key objection must be submitted via Post or to be delivered in person to the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. The candidates have to submit their challenge along with supporting documents with a fee of Rs 100 per question.

The board earlier stated in their official statement, “Complaints regarding the Answer Keys, if any, may be forwarded to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations along with supporting documents and fee @ Rs.100/- per question by way of DD drawn in favor of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram, by post or hand delivery to reach the office on or before June 13, 5.00 PM.”

The KEAM exam is conducted every year for admission to various UG courses offered at institutes in Kerala, approved by the central and state regulatory bodies, universities, and government. This year, the KEAM exam was held from June 5 to June 10 in CBT mode with a time duration of 180 minutes.

The exam consisted of 150 questions. Out of which 75 questions were from Mathematics, 45 from Physics and 30 from Chemistry subjects.

For the students, applying for the BPharm course, the exam had 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry which were to be answered in 90 minutes.

The provisional answer key will help the candidate to calculate their probable KEAM 2024 score.

KEAM 2024: Marking Scheme

–– Four marks will be awarded for each right answer.

–– For every wrong attempt, 1 mark will be deducted.

–– No marks will be deducted for not attempting the question.

The KEAM 2024 exam result is expected to be out on June 20. Also, CEE Kerala has invited fresh applications for admission to BArch and Medical, Medical allied courses (including MBBS and BDS) from the candidates who have not submitted applications under KEAM 2024.

While, those who have already submitted the applications under KEAM 2024 for any courses, can add additional courses like Architecture or Medical and allied courses, as applicable. The last date to apply for BArch or other additional courses is June 19.
