The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) result 2024 has been announced by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on June 1. Candidates who took the exam can check their scores on the official website at kea.kar.nic.in. As per media reports, the top 10 ranks have been secured by nine boys and one girl. The top three ranks have been achieved by Harsha Karthikeya Vutukuri, Sahakara Nagar, Manoj Sohan Gajula, and Abhinav PJ from Nehru Smaraka Vidyalaya, Jayanagar, reported Times of India.

According to the statistics shared by KEA, a total of 3.27 lakh candidates participated in the exam. The entrance exam for Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses took place on April 18 and 19, with the Kannada Language Test conducted on April 20. The opportunity to challenge the preliminary answer key was available from April 30 to May 7.

Step 3: Candidates have to log in with their credentials including registration number and hall ticket number

The examination is conducted for students seeking admission to various undergraduate engineering, technology, and pharmacy courses offered by colleges across Karnataka. The KCET rank is determined based on the marks obtained in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry in both the KCET and the qualifying examination, with equal weightage given to each.

KCET 2024 Result: What’s Next?

Those who pass the exam will be invited to attend counselling. The KCET is a state-wide exam held each year for applications to undergraduate (UG) degrees offered at several government, private, and private unaided institutions throughout the state. To be eligible for counselling, candidates must not only have cleared KCET but must also be Indian citizens and have cleared class 12 or equivalent examination, with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects.
