The contestants were given a ration that was intended to last five days, but they finished it in two and a half days.
Bigg Boss OTT 3 has brought together diverse personalities under one roof. The first week was quite tough for the contestants as they struggled to gel with each other and also faced shortages of ration. With insufficient food in the house, several participants found themselves almost starving. Tensions in the house built up when they were given the bare minimum to survive as they pleaded with Bigg Boss. Falaq Naaz, who was part of Bigg Boss OTT 2, has reacted to the issues.
Falaq Naaz told ETimes that she has been following the latest season. She has also opened up about the ration issue faced by the contestants.
She said, “This is the format of the show, and every year contestants face this issue. Even when I was in the show I have survived on small portions of food! Also it is about how you react when you’re in such situations. It is challenging, and it is a survival show where you have to come out stronger. It makes you value everything in life and also serves as a good life lesson.”
In Tuesday’s episode, the housemates continued arguing about the food and requested that Bigg Boss provide them with more food to sustain themselves. The contestants were given a ration that was intended to last five days, but they finished it in two and a half days. On their request, Bigg Boss had sent them fruits but the participants decided to challenge the rules.
After much debate, Bigg Boss consented to offer them the opportunity to earn their ration back. A special task was assigned to the contestants where they had to rank their fellow housemates from most deserving to least deserving based on mutual agreement. However, the housemates failed to complete the task correctly. Later they were provided with a significantly smaller portion of ration, enough to last a week.
Bigg Boss OTT 3 is streaming on Jio Cinema Premium. Viral vada pav girl Chandrika Dixit, Ranvir Shorey, Sana Makbul Khan, Poulomi Das, Lovekesh Kataria, Sai Ketan Rao, Neeraj Goyat, Sana Sultan, and Vishal Pandey are the contestants.
