According to the latest reports, the Jamui District Office in Bihar has announced job fairs that aim to offer employment opportunities to approximately 300 youths. These job fairs are set to be organised across all blocks within the Jamui district.
The objective of these job fairs is to fill 300 job positions across various roles within the district of Jamui as stated by the District Planning Officer, Md Tausif. The SIS (Security and Intelligent Services) Regional Training Center Chakai plans to recruit candidates for several positions, including 200 vacancies for security personnel and 50 vacancies each for supervisors and dog handlers. The minimum educational qualifications required for these roles are matriculation and intermediate certificates. The job fairs are scheduled to run until December 13.
As per the directives from the Planning Office, interested candidates must submit their applications along with their detailed bios and educational certificates at the designated location. Successful candidates will be remunerated based on their merits. Additionally, applicants are required to register on the NCS (National Career Service) portal to apply for these positions.

Additionally, the District Planning Office conducted another job fair in Begusarai, Bihar, on November 22, 2023. As per reports, a private company within the state was offering employment to 15 unemployed candidates through this fair. Organised by the Labor Resources Department and District Employment Office, this fair welcomed candidates from outside Bihar, provided they registered on the NCS portal.
